NIT Rourkela - Stipendiary Engineers (Diploma)

Appointment of Stipendiary Engineers & Assistants (Temporary assignment on contract basis)



Qualification:
Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering/Architecture.Desirable for Civil/Architecture : Knowledge of computer applications, experience in design & estimation, construction & maintenance of buildings, roads, drains, structural work, interior and all kinds of finishing works including sanitary and plumbing works and {Planning & Construction (for Architecture)}.Desirable for Electrical :Knowledge of computer applications, experience in operation & maintenance of HT substation, testing of relays, switchgears, power transformers and instrument transformers, planning, design and estimation of a power system and also internal electrical works of large infrastructure projects, operation & maintenance of diesel generator set & AMF panel.

Age : Must be Below 23 years as on 01.08.2012

First appointment within 2 years of leaving full time study in college or school or before completing 23 years of age. No extension to be given beyond 25th birthday or 2 years of contractual service whichever is earlier.

Mere fulfillment of minimum qualification does not entitle any candidate to be called for an interview. Shortlisting criteria will be decided by the Institute depending upon the number of applications received under each category. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the advertised post.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
