ENGINEER – SC (MECHANICAL)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: B.E. / B.Tech. B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering having minimum one year working experience in Engineering Design & Analysis.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The selected candidates are expected to work in various areas of Detailed Engineering Design & Analysis and commissioning of different SST-1 diagnostics. Commissioning work will involve interface of UHV vacuum chambers, support structure with SST-1 Tokamak and their related issues.
ENGINEER – SC (CIVIL)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Civil Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in building construction work and site supervision work and should be computer literate.
JOB DESCRIPTION : The selected candidate will be required to do day to day supervision & execution of works to ensure best quality & workmanship, to co-ordinate with Contractors, Architects & Consultants, study & scrutiny of drawings, preparation of estimates including rate analysis & Tender documents, correspondence & maintaining records related to projects, Scrutiny and verification of bills including taking and recording measurements and all project related work and any other work assigned from time to time.

SCIENTIST (PROJECT)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: M.Sc. Physics (First Class) having minimum one year working experience in spectroscopic measurements consisting of handling atleast one optical instrument like spectrometer, photo-multiplier tube, different types of lenses, optical fibers, interference filters etc. Knowledge of different standards used in optical system design and basic knowledge of vacuum is desirable. Knowledge of scientific programming language will be added advantage.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The selected candidate will be required to work on testing the optical systems and their electronics and integrating those to SST-I tokamak with active interactions with SST-I task force for proper and timely installation of various subsystems directly mounted on SST-I tokamak. The candidate will also be working in collaboration with mechanical engineers towards designing and fabricating opto-mechanical components and auxiliary support components, like tables, bases, flanges and support structures for mounting the spectroscopic systems on SST-I tokamak.
