[UK] Campbell Burns Scholarship Research Academic Session

Committed to providing a high-quality education and experience to all students, regardless of background, inspiring them to develop to the full their abilities, producing outstanding professional and enterprising people for industry, business and the professions. The School of Law at the University of Strathclyde invites applications for the award of a Campbell Burns Scholarship.

Successful applicants will have their fees waived for each year of their period of study (1 year for MPhil students; 3 years for PhD students) together with an annual maintenance award of £10,000. The scholarship is for one year in the first instance and in the case of PhD students, subject to satisfactory progress, will normally be renewed up to the maximum of a further 2 years.
Requirement
Area of research interest resonant with the expertise and current interests of available School of Law staff. Proven, or potential, ability to teach at undergraduate level. If English is not the applicant’s first language, a minimum of 7 in IELTS, or equivalent, will be required.
