CISF - Constable/GD

Recruitment for filling up the following vacancies in the State of J&K for the temporary posts of CONSTABLE/GD(MALE & FEMALE)



Physical Standards
Category
1. For Gen, SC & OBC {except those in (2) (3), (4), (5) & (6) below}
2. For persons falling in the category of Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Gorkhas, Dogras and Marathas subject to production of Certificate as per Appendix – “ D”.
3. For persons hailing from Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K subject to production of either domicile certificate or certificate as per Appendix-‘D’
4. For persons hailing from the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, subject to production of either domicile certificate or certificate as per Appendix – “D”.
5. All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes except those in (6) below subject to production of certificate as per Appendix – “B”.
6. The minimum height for all candidates belonging to schedule tribes hailing from the Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya and left wing extremism affected states / districts (as per Appendix-‘K’) subject to production of certificate as per Appendix-‘B’ and ‘D’. This relaxed standard in height is not applicable to Assam State.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
NATIONALITY : INDIAN
Age:
Not less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on 1st August 2012 (relaxable
upto 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates).

Educational
qualifications
(1) Matriculation or 10th class pass.
Educational certificates other than State Board/ Central Board should be
accompanied with Govt. of India notification declaring that such qualification is
equivalent to Matric/10th class pass for service under Central Govt.

How to apply:
This notification along with requisite forms etc is available at htpp:// www.cisfrecruitment.org and www.cisf.gov.in.
Candidates who fulfill the above eligible criteria and wish to apply for the post of Constable in CISF may report at the recruitment centers as mentioned at para-1 above for further stages of recruitment. There is no need to submit application by post. The candidate has to submit the following documents while reporting at the Recruitment Center:-
a) Application form on the proforma as prescribed in Appendix-‘A’ of this notification duly filled in completely by the candidate. No application form will be supplied by the department.
b) Gen and OBC candidates have to submit postal order for Rs.50/- drawn in favour of PAO/CISF, New Delhi payable at GPO New Delhi as Examination fee. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST and Ex-servicemen are exempted from the examination fee and they need not submit any postal order.
c) Questionnaire as per Appendix-‘E’ of this notification duly filled in and signed by the candidate. 06
d) Original Certificates along with Photostat copies of the Educational qualification certificate(s) in proof of age and educational qualification etc., issued by a recognized University/Board duly attested by a Gazetted Officer be enclosed. If the Educational certificates are from other than State Board/Central Board, Photostat copy of Govt of India notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent to
Matric/10th class pass for service under Central Govt. should be submitted.
e) Original Certificates along with Photostat copies of SC/ST and OBC certificate on the proforma prescribed by the Central Government as per Appendix – ‘B’, ‘C’ of the Notification. Ex-servicemen will submit undertaking in the proforma as per Appendix-‘H’.
f) Candidates falling in the category of Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Gorkhas, Dogras and Marathas shall enclose certified true copy of certificates issued by SDM/Tehsildar or equivalent authority authorised by Central Government for getting relaxation in height and chest as per Appendix – ‘D’ of the Notification.
g) Candidates belonging to the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Kashmir, Leh & Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir and Left Wing Extremism States shall enclose either domicile certificate or certified true copy of certificates issued by SDM/Tehsildar or equivalent authority authorised by Central Government for getting
relaxation in height and chest as per Appendix – ‘D’ of the Notification.
h) Two additional self signed (in the front) passport size photographs are required to be attached duly clipped along with application form.
i) Departmental tradesmen who are resident of J&K may submit photo copy of Service certificate from the Unit Commander.
j) Photostat copy of Certificate from District Collector/District Magistrate in case of children and dependents of victims KILLED in the 1984 riots & communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat.
k) Certificate from the concerned District Magistrate within whose jurisdiction the candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of J&K from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 for age relaxation.
l) All Govt. Servants including CISF personnel must submit declaration as per Appendix G. to the Notification
m) OBC Candidates have to submit Creamy layer certificate as per Appendix –‘J’ to the Notification
