Job Description-To provide technical support to Flat Product Customer’s.
Key Activities:
To study the technical specifications of the customers with special focus on distribution & branded products.
To understand technical problems of customer’s related to steel,& provide effective solutions.
To participate in trials of new products at customer’s end & provide technical assistance wherever applicable.
To understand / capture customer needs
To be groomed as a technical expert in the customer processes
To be current and updated on market wrt new grades and approvals.
To regularly interact with customer to understand technical requirements & communicated to plant.
To identify chronic issues at the customer end and provide relevant inputs with analysis for initiating actions for their permanent solution at plant end.
To take responsibility of customer issues logged on DPCR, FPSTS
Understand technical requirements of customer & assist plant in developing suitable TDC’s.
Desired Profile -Relevant experience in Product Application Group / Technology Group / R&D / Technical Services / Operations in a Flat Product Manufacturing.
